I ask that the House be adjourned under the terms of Standing Order 31 to debate the following issue of urgent national importance: the abject failure of the Government to deliver its own priority objectives in the national youth work development plan including, for example, the appointment of an assessor for youth work, the capacity building of youth work organisations and the VECs and the establishment of a developments unit for youth work, despite funding having been available from the start of this year, and the negative implications for the future development of meaningful youth projects.
