I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of major national importance, namely the continuing loss of life on our roads due to the grossly underestimated effect of road conditions and road works on fatal and serious road traffic accidents and to demand that the NRA, the HSA and local authorities properly carry out their statutory responsibilities.
