Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
3:00 pm
Séamus Healy (Tipperary South, Independent)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of urgent national importance, namely, the rip-off of PAYE taxpayers by the cynical reduction of the amount of refuse charge payment allowable against income tax to €195 per annum when refuse charges now run at an average of €350 per annum and to allow the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to make a statement on the matter.
