Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.

11:00 am

Jerry Cowley (Mayo, Independent)

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the spending of €150 million to further congest Dublin Airport and its surroundings when Ireland's fourth international airport at Knock lies under-developed and under-utilised with 400,000 passengers compared to 38 million passengers projected for Dublin Airport by 2025, which flies in the face of common sense and balanced regional development.
