I request the adjournment of the business of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of national importance, namely, the need for the Ministers for Health and Children and Education and Science to take urgent action to address the crisis in the provision of services for children with special needs, as highlighted in the north-eastern area of the Health Service Executive in recent days.
