Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
10:30 am
Paul Gogarty (Dublin Mid West, Green Party)
I seek the adjournment of the House under Standing Order 31 to debate an issue of national importance, namely, the need for the Government to tackle the issue of class size in primary schools as a matter of priority, given that our class sizes are among the largest in the European Union and that international research points to smaller class sizes having a noticeable improvement on a child's educational development.
