Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.

10:30 am

Jerry Cowley (Mayo, Independent)

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate a matter of major national importance, namely, that the Government save 200 women from dying from breast cancer by making the national treatment purchase fund available to provide a temporary breast screening service to women living in the south and west of Ireland pending the full national roll-out of BreastCheck, which it is estimated will not happen until 2007 at the earliest.
