I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss the following matter of urgent national importance, namely, that the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government would make a statement as to why the director general of the board of the Environmental Protection Agency should not be dismissed in light of his arrogant reaction to calls for the involvement of the board and its director general in the public oral hearing for a proposed toxic waste incinerator for Ringaskiddy, County Cork.
