I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss the following matter of urgent national importance, namely, the unacceptable situation that has arisen in Loughlinstown, County Dublin, where ten people employed though FÁS and job initiative schemes are given no written notice and only days' verbal notice before their jobs are terminated, and the impact that such a loss will have not only on the individuals concerned but on the wider Loughlinstown community that is a designated RAPID area.
