Question 56: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government his views on the conclusions of the recent NESC report on housing, that an additional 73,000 social housing units must be built by 2011; the plans he has to increase social housing output to this level; the way in which it is intended to meet increased social housing targets in the larger urban areas, in which building land is scarce; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
