I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate an important matter of public interest requiring urgent consideration, namely, the acquisition of a site for a hotel development at Trim Castle and the development of a car park at the same site, the misuse of European funds, the delay in seeking the return of such funds and the role played by the then Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in the controversy.
