I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the restrictions imposed by the National Maternity Hospital in Holles Street on admissions during the summer months, the severe difficulties this will create for pregnant mothers, the alarm expressed by general practitioners about this decision regarding the welfare of their patients and the need for a statement from the Minister for Health and Children and a debate in the Dáil about this decision.
