I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of national importance, namely, the early implementation of the package for Monaghan and Cavan General Hospitals as announced by the Minister for Health and Children on 29 September last to avoid a situation where it is found necessary to transfer patients despite the availability of ICU beds at Monaghan and Cavan General Hospitals.
