I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of public interest requiring urgent consideration, namely, that in a time of dramatic economic development and growth households and families in west Tallaght face a considerable risk of poverty and social exclusion as highlighted by a recent report, the need for urgent action and a solutions-based approach to the area's long and short-term problems.
