I seek the adjournment of Dáil Éireann under Standing Order 31 on a matter of extreme importance regarding Ennis national school in County Clare and ask the new Minister for Education and Science to avert the all-out strike on Thursday next by teaching staff by providing emergency funding for the provision of temporary accommodation for additional teaching staff, and to provide the necessary funding to deal with the deplorable health and safety conditions which are causing undue stress for pupils and teachers at Ennis national school, and that this work be carried out during the October bank holiday weekend.
