Everyone is very welcome to the fifth meeting of this committee. Before we proceed I have a few housekeeping matters to go through. I advise members of the constitutional requirement that they must be physically present within the confines of the Leinster House complex in order to participate in public meetings. I will not permit a member to participate where they are not adhering to the constitutional requirement and therefore a member who attempts to participate from outside the precincts will be asked to leave the meeting. In this regard, I ask any member participating via Microsoft Teams to confirm prior to making their contribution to the meeting they are on the grounds of the Leinster House complex.

No apologies have been received. The meeting will comprise of two sessions. Session 1 is on the Supplementary Estimates 2025, Vote 32 - Enterprise, Tourism and Employment. Session 2 is Committee Stage of the Protection of Employees (Employers’ Insolvency) (Amendment) Bill 2025. I propose that we now commence session one, suspend for five minutes at its conclusion and resume for session 2 to debate Committee Stage of the Bill. Is that agreed? Agreed.
