Related to that is the issue of a legal disclaimer being attached to chatbots saying, "We're telling you this, but don't take it too seriously because we're only a chatbot". Am I correct that the product liability directive would effectively mean that these legal disclaimers are certainly misleading and have no legal force? Therefore, if, for example, people get wrong information through the Department of justice chatbot that results in serious damage to themselves in whatever way, they can hold the State responsible and the State cannot get to wash its hands of it because of some legal disclaimer.
