I wish to address the helicopter medical emergency service and issues relating to doctors being on air ambulance services. I have received representations from a number of personnel who work in these areas. There is a concern regarding the HEM service where there is one advanced paramedic, if I am correct, on the helicopter. The people who work in the service and who contacted me say they believe that best practice is that it should be two. Is Mr. Healy aware of their concerns?
