I thank the witnesses for attending. Ms Nugent said that in hindsight, CHI should have engaged with the Comptroller and Auditor General and the NTPF on these issues. Ms Hardiman has confirmed that the report was not furnished to the HSE and mentioned the loose language that was used in a letter to the Minister for Health regarding the level of engagement with the HSE on the matters contained in the report. In hindsight, should Ms Nugent have done more in her engagement with the HSE?
