Are governments and politicians doing enough? No. It is incumbent on this committee to have the platforms before it in public session to answer some of the questions the Deputy put forward, which are very serious. We do not have the full answers. We do not have transparency from platforms. The majority of them are headquartered in Dublin. We have, and can have, an oversized impact, as can the Deputy as a political representative, on how we force these companies to be more transparent and open about how they do their business. We would welcome the committee inviting them in. We have previously seen these platforms come in but in closed session. That is not in a public forum, which is not good for democracy either. That is one of our key recommendations to the committee.
