When I organised workers to better their pay and conditions in the filling stations I worked in, we were branded as agitators who wanted to go out on strike for the sake of doing it. I was the assistant manager there. I wanted those working with me to be happy and comfortable in their jobs. We are not about trying to tear down companies. We are trying to make life for workers in their employments better. Unfortunately, that comes down to pay. We talked about the mental health impacts of it.
