One of the recommendations in the national AI strategy is mentorship between multinationals and SMEs. That is something in which we have always tried to engage. AI presents even bigger opportunities for that type of interaction. In the past, there may have been a perceived gulf between the activities multinationals are doing and the activities SMEs are doing. In the space we are in now, we are all learning AI. A couple of years ago, a large part of our workforce would not have been using generative AI; now they are using it. In many cases, we are in the same process of learning as are SMEs. That opens up great opportunities. In our work with the local enterprise offices and Enterprise Ireland, we are trying to make that engagement real.
