At this point in time, the Department has not made a submission to the Commission's consultation. Our position is that we will engage with the Commission once it comes up with its proposal to do whatever it proposes to do. We have promoted the consultation among our stakeholders and we are engaging with stakeholders to prepare a consultation for the next framework programme. Our position will be that until the Commission makes a proposal, we do not know what it is going to propose. Of course, the Commission has to make a proposal to member states.
