I welcome the Minister of State, Deputy O'Donnell, and his officials for the resumed Committee Stage of the Planning and Development Bill 2023. We have a session scheduled for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. this evening. If it is acceptable to members, I propose that we start that session at 6.30 p.m. to ensure ministerial cover. I am happy to extend the session until 9.30 p.m. if that is acceptable.

We will surely get through our business between 6.30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

That is fine. The proposal is that the second session be from 6.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Is that agreed? Agreed. This session is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. I am proposing to take a break at some point, perhaps around the two-hour mark.

I am scheduled to cover from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. My colleague, the Minister of State, Deputy Noonan, will take over at 3 p.m.

It makes sense to take a half-hour break for tea at that point.
