Only where we have a suspect for a specific offence. It is not a question of a blanket identification of everybody on the street that day; it is only those individuals that we can identify for specific incidents, where we suspect they have committed a serious crime. Numerous crimes were committed, as we all know, including the destruction of property, wholesale theft, as well as assaults on individuals and on members of An Garda Síochána. Where we have individuals who we suspect for those crimes, we are obliged to investigate and do our best to bring them to justice. That involves sifting through 22,000 hours of CCTV footage, which is why we need digital tools-----
