Mention was made that in the state of Victoria in Australia and in New Zealand a doctor cannot initiate the conversation on assisted dying. What are the consequences of that? Are there medical consequences?

I had not even thought about the issue of the difference between capacity in terms of being unconscious per seand whatever we might think of as being the other variations of that. In the example given, would patients themselves outline where the line would lie for them? I do not know about the jurisdiction being referred to. Is it that this must be figured out? I did not quite understand.
