Mr. John Hogan:
Hold on a second. I explained to the Chair that I did not see it being in the interest of the Department to leak the information. I cannot see what the upside is of reading about an Exchequer breach on the front page of The Irish Timesin the week before Christmas. It makes absolutely no sense to me. I cannot see it. Civil servants by their nature do not engage in briefing the media like this. It is not in their interest.
