Who does the Law Society believe the competent authority will be and, more importantly, who does the Law Society think it should be? Should the oversight be annexed into an existing agency? Will it be necessary to establish a stand-alone agency? I am not asking Mr. Linehan to appoint someone here but does he have a view on the best place for the authority to be situated?
