I want to take this opportunity to echo what Ms Ryan said about everybody working together. For the parents I have spoken to and informed that this meeting was happening, I want to just acknowledge how much it means to them. Oftentimes they feel very alienated and forgotten about. Meetings like this one mean that people are talking about their situations, considering what it must be like and looking at the options and supports that could best meet their needs and support them in being the best parents they possibly can be and to maintain that relationship with their child.
