If we were to take away the CDNTs and return to what we had before them, what we had were some pockets of excellent provision of services but also many large holes in the provision of services, especially in rural areas. People from Donegal, Kerry or wherever often needed to travel to Dublin to get private assessments because they were not available. The CDNT model has seen 91 teams established.
