The Deputy is correct that there is a great deal of variation in parental, paternity and maternity leave systems. An international committee produces a document annually which tries to bring all this information together. When we look at the length of leave, Ireland compares quite favourably across all these different headings. It is becoming complex because we have many different types of leave, such as parental, maternity, paternity and parents leave, for example.
