There is no law saying that we must have an architectural design for every house and that departmental officials must look at windows to see if they look alright aesthetically. It should be a case of "We have them, that's it". We should save money and time and get them built. I have said this to Ministers over the past decade or so. I find it very frustrating. Unless officials take this on board, it will not happen. We should make the case to Ministers that if we want to mass produce and deliver those 9,000 homes, this is the only way it can be done. It would reduce the amount of money that is being spent.
