The exercise referred to is ongoing. Effectively, we have looked at all of our approximately 7,000 beds in the public nursing homes, be they long-stay or short-stay beds, in terms of what is open, closed and whether they are closed temporarily or permanently. As Ms O'Connor said, the value for money, VFM, report was very clear. For every 100 beds in the public sector, there are more staff overall. The mix of nurses is higher. While we pay our nurses the same as the private sector, the salaries for healthcare assistant staff who tend to have higher education qualifications are higher in the public system.
