I will not go into the detail of cases but there are newspaper reports of cases where individuals have been delisted for managing vice rings and for various other convictions relating to sexual offences, including those convicted of possessing material relating to child sexual abuse. That is in the public domain. I personally hate to see where victims waive their anonymity because they are given that status during a legal process to protect the victim and they feel they have no choice at the end of the court case but to disclose who they are in order to have the perpetrator named. I do not think it is right that having gone through the trauma of the case and having to deal with it, we then have companies that are regulated here in this country deciding to just completely erase their story. That is wrong and I do not think it should be allowed. We need to ensure that the letter of the law is implemented here in Ireland. I ask the Minister to think long and hard about it and I will reintroduce the amendment on Report Stage.
