EirGrid supports establishing a high-level cross-government body to meet regularly and feed into the Department on how to bring down the cost of renewable energy.

It is an ask from the wind organisations that there needs to be a cross-government high-level body that identifies the costs involved in renewable energy and how we reduce those costs. Would EirGrid be supportive of such a body being set up?
