I agree with what Ms Simpson and Ms Ossig have said. From my side, and I have seen this in the field across many different contexts, negotiation with all sides to the conflict is imperative for access to healthcare. Although it has already been said, I want to reiterate that our principles, particularly those of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence, are key for us to have that recognition, and that helps to ensure our security. Once these are respected and upheld by all sides, it is the best thing we can do to ensure the safety of staff and beneficiaries.
