The difficulty is that we have not elicited clearly from the Minister's remarks what would constitute a "serious or significant" error. Remember, this process deals with compensation for people's livelihoods ending as a result of legislation that is passed. The standard should be, therefore, that no errors are made when the compensation that is due to people is being assessed.

I will put on record that I will be supporting Deputy Michael Collins' amendment.
