It is fair to say the deal that was done would favour the sector as opposed to the workers. It is fair to say that, in 1997, Internet and online shopping and all of that sort of thing did not really exist, and it is fair to say Revenue could not have seen that coming. However, it is also fair to say Revenue has sat on its hands for the past 20 years and has done nothing as more and more workers are exploited. Surely Mr. Cody would recognise that this is an issue for workers.
