The joint committee has considered several EU proposals. With regard to COM (2020) 621, a proposal for a Council recommendation on Roma equality, inclusion and participation, the committee agreed at its meeting on 2 November that no further scrutiny is required. With regard to COM (2021) 634, a proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and the Council on a European year of youth 2022, the committee agreed at its meeting on 16 November that no further scrutiny is required and that there are no subsidiarity issues with this proposal.
