No. 744 is correspondence from Mr. Niall Burgess, Secretary General of the Department of Foreign Affairs, providing information requested by the committee arising from our meeting with the Department on 24 June this year. Matters addressed include the backlog of foreign birth registrations; Ireland's development and humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people; the list of State-owned properties located abroad for which the Department has responsibility; and expenditure on the passport reform programme.
