Members are reminded of the long-standing parliamentary practice to the effect that they should not comment on, criticise or make charges against a person outside the Houses or an official either by name or in such a way as to make him or her identifiable. I remind members that they are only allowed to participate in the meeting if they are physically located in the Leinster House complex. In this regard, I ask all members confirm they are on the grounds of Leinster House prior to making their contribution to the meeting.

Today's meeting has been convened for a division to be held on the question of whether to waive pre-legislative scrutiny of the Health (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2021. When the vote is called all members must physically come to committee room 4 in order to vote.

The question is: "That the pre-legislative scrutiny of the Health (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2021 be waived."

Question put:

The Committee divided: Tá, 8; Níl, 6.

Question declared carried.

The joint committee adjourned at 12. 41 p.m. until 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 14 July 2021.
