If our guests were listening to the news this morning, they may have heard it mentioned that a modest house in the Rathmines region is on sale for €1 million-plus. That is an indication of how these things can and do change, which can put the taxpayer in a very difficult position at a time when he or she may be least capable of dealing with it.
