No, Deputy they would not, because there is not anyone in the State who would pay anything near that. A single individual on an income for of €125,000 a year would pay somewhere from 38% to 40% of their income in taxation and social insurance, assuming that they did not avail of any potential tax reliefs through savings and pensions, or something like that.
