Normally in these circumstances, where services are inadequate, we would be talking about the need for an action plan. However, there is an action plan on breastfeeding. The difficulty is with the slow pace of implementing it. This committee can play a role in respect of taking this issue up with the Department. Has anyone got an estimate of the cost of fully implementing the action plan?
