I move amendment No. 32:
In page 20, to delete lines 23 to 35 and substitute the following:

| 9 & 10 Geo. 5 c. 51 | Checkweighing in Various Industries Act 1919 | Section 3 | In subsection (4) substitute “that person shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished as if he or she were guilty of an offence under section 6 of the Criminal Justice (Perjury and Related Offences) Act 2021.” for “he shall be guilty of a misdemeanour and liable to imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for a term not exceeding two years, or to a fine, or to both such imprisonment and fine.”. |
