Ms McEvoy mentioned the expectations that people may have when they get a loan in the first instance. That expectation may not have legal effect. If one gets a loan from a long-established bank, one expects it to behave in a certain way, then when the loan is sold to another entity which may not have the same record in the market, one would probably still hope and expect to be treated the same way, but that expectation does not have any legal effect, does it?
