I welcome the Minister and the departmental officials from the Department. The Minister's statement on the Revised Estimates for public serviceshas been circulated to members. I ask the Minister to provide the committee with a brief introduction to his statement, following which there will be questions from members. We are limited to a 1 p.m. finish so I ask members to be brief.
