One area on which there is a lack of data, and this is not a Covid issue and does not fall within NPHET's responsibility, is the national self-harm registry. That was suspended for some time. Is that now active again and, if not, can it be activated? We do not know the extent of it but we all agree that this is having a huge toll on people‘s mental health and sense of isolation. I do not know whether the rates of suicide are increasing but anecdotally there is a suggestion that they are. We need to be able to measure that.
