Yes, that is the case. Unfortunately, sometimes the test assay may not work. The test may need to be repeated because the test controls do not run. Occasionally, we have to repeat the test. Quality control is built into every assay. If they do not run, then we have to repeat the test. What comes back is not really a test result. We may simply have to repeat it.
