I would like Dr. O'Mara's advice on climate change mitigation measures and how that feeds into national policy. The next CAP is where farmers are going to get paid for doing these things that are going to make a difference. How does Teagasc's advice feed through the Department and into the CAP? I am referring to urea, slurry, clover etc. This comes down to the fact that if farmers are being paid to do something, they will do it.
